The assembly was in confusion. Some were shouting one thing, some another. Most of the people did not even know why they were there.
The riot in Ephesus was led by Demetrius who wanted to save his profession. He was into the production of idols made of silver. Paul preached against it and converted many people.
In the riot, some said this and others said that and some did not know why they were there. This kind of situation happens to a lot of people including you and I. Why are we here? This is a question each one of us need to reflect upon.
First of all, we are here because we were created in the image and likeness of God. God in creating each one of us did so with some sort of intensions and purposes. So we are here to fulfill those intensions and purposes of God. You and I have a specific and a clearly defined purpose here on Earth. We can only discover this if we seek God through Jesus Christ.
The intensions and purposes of God for all mankind are enshrined in the great commandment. Love God and love your neighbor as yourself. All that we do here on Earth is to make it a better place for you and for me. What are you doing to achieve this?
We are not here by chance but by a divine orchestrated plan of God. On matter how we see ourselves, God made us for a purpose. A purpose that no person can accomplish except you. Do not disappoint God and your generation, for the whole world is waiting for our manifestations through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Let us pray
Lord help me to find my purpose here on Earth as ordained by YOU in the name of Jesus Christ.
