The Girls’ Brigade was started in Britain by the union of the two following organization: the Girl’s Guildry and the Girl’s Life Brigade. The union was confirmed in June 10, 1968.The Girls’ Brigade was formed in Dublin, Ireland, in 1893. It was founded on two Bible Class and Physical Training, having its aim: “the extension of Christ’s Kingdom among girls.The Girls’ Guildry was founded in1900 as a church – centred organization, providing for four age groups. Its various activities aimed at helping girls to become mature Christian women; an interdenominational and international movement with a strong emphasis in service to others.The Girls’ Life Brigade was founded in 1902 by the National Sunday School Union in Britain, the aim being: to help and encourage girls to become responsible, self-reliant and useful Christian women.
